5QF - 6/3

As with every Friday...I must start by sharing this week's weight loss!

I lost 2.4 pounds this week! I am officially down a total of 39.6 pounds! Woohoo! Everyday gets me one step closer to where I wanna be. :)

Without further ado...it's Five Question Friday!

1. If you had to choose, how would you prefer to spend money...on landscaping or a pool?

This is a NO BRAINER for me! I have wanted a pool for as long as I can remember. *sigh* Who needs landscaping...that just creates more work! ha I'm all about swimming.

2. Death penalty, yay or nay?

I say yes. I'm all for an 'eye for an eye' philosophy. I think people do stupid things and should receive a just punishment to fit the crime. If people were more worried about the punishment, they might think twice about committing a crime.

3. What's the worst thing your kid has gotten into when you turned your back/blogged/showered/blinked?

Since I have no kids, I will share a story about something I did as a kid when my Grandma had her back turned. haha My sister and I always used to play beauty shop. We'd wrap a towel around each other like a salon cape and sit in this kiddie chair we had. The chair would be in the middle of the living room facing the large mirror that hung over the couch. We'd use baby lotion as face masks...haha...oh my, we were tools. Anyway, on this particular day, I convinced my younger sister that Grandma said it was okay to cut her hair. bahahaha I had the lovely dull kiddie scissors and was literally a second away from attempting to cut her bangs when Grandma realized it was TOO quiet and came to find us. I don't think I got spanked, but I definitely heard a few words about my behavior, even though I tried to convince Grandma that Jen WANTED me to cut her hair. ;) I love being a big sis!

4. How often do you REALLY go to the dentist?

To be honest, I went for several years without going because I didn't have any insurance and just couldn't afford it. Now that I have a wonderful benefits package at work, I go every 6 months for my cleaning...and as needed for other issues.

5. What is your favorite animal (doesn't have to be a pet-type animal)?

My all-time favorite animal is a polar bear. I've always loved them. Maybe because I was addicted to Coca Cola until about 3 weeks ago? ha Seriously, I think they are gorgeous and our Great Pyrenees dogs always reminded me of polar bears.

  1. New follower from 5QF. Congrats on the weight loss! I'm trying to lose weight for my high school reunion coming up in Oct...I must say eating is a lot more fun than "watching" what you eat.

  2. Girl...we are too much alike sometimes! I, too, have always loved polar bears! I could stand and watch them play for hours at the zoo. Maybe that's why I loved the g.p. so much too!

CONGRATS on the weight loss! You are doing awesome!!!

  3. I love Great Pyrennes dogs! Seems like everyone has a pair of those out here. They make good herding dogs, I suppose. I'd love to have one! I'm with you though, polar bears are beautiful! I love all artctic animals - penguins, seals, etc. They're so fascinating!
