Day 103

It was a steamy start to the day! It was nearly 80 at 6:30am & the path to work was hidden by fog. I had to use my wipers to keep the windshield clear enough to see. It was crazy. Would have been a cool sunrise if not for the fog. Ha

Day 101

To end a wonderful vacation week of not counting WW points (to which I gained 5.8 pounds), I enjoyed leftover Hotbox pizza & a Bell's Oberon beer. Yum!

Day 93

We made it! We made it! After getting up early to fly from Indy to Cozumel, we arrived at our 4-star tropical paradise. :)

Day 92

Enjoyed dinner out with mom & Jen before our vacay started. Love me some Boogie Burger & BRICS. I am addicted to Broad Ripple Blackberry ice cream. Mmmmmmmmm

Day 102

I will get caught up on days 92-101 later tonight...I hope. For now, suffice it to say its smoldering outside! I only want it this hot if I'm on the beach! Haha

5QF - 7/1

It's JULY! It's my birthday month! (or so my college alumni email told me this morning...haha)

And now for a quick 5QF!

1. If you had the opportunity to bungee jump, would you?

That is a big resounding NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! It makes my skin crawl to think of it. I get sick riding on the "Viking Ship" at King's Island. No way in h-e-double hockey sticks am I going to bungee jump or sky dive or any of those crazy things!


2. Would you rather go to the movie theater or drive-in?

We have a drive-in in the town next to us, but I haven't been since I was a little girl. The last movie I saw there was Strawberry Shortcake...in my matching jammies...if that tells you how long ago that was!?! ;) I do enjoy going to the movie theater; however, I never have anyone to go with me. Boo! :(


3. Do you have your groceries delivered?

Nope. I don't even think anyone around me offers that service. This is a one stoplight town. Pretty sure I gotta go get 'em myself!


4. Eyebrows: Do you wax, thread, pluck, or stay au naturel?

I wax. I have been waxing my eyebrows since I was in junior high. I dislike HATE plucking...and will do so only under extenuating circumstances. haha


5. Would the people you went to high school with be surprised by your life today?

hmmm...that's a good question, but probably not...maybe a little. I don't think anyone expected me to move back to our hometown. I was always voted "most likely to succeed" and "most likely to own my own business." I do own my own business...3 of them to be exact. ha I feel like I'm successful in what I've chosen to do, but maybe not as much as I thought (or they thought) I would be. All in all, I don't think any MAJOR surprises.

WW Update

Weighed in this morning....... *drumroll please*

And I have lost another 3.4 pounds!!! :) YAY!

I have officially lost nearly 46 pounds. That is crazy!?! I am feeling better everyday! I will finish out my points week tomorrow (Saturday) and then come Sunday, I am taking a one week break. I plan to enjoy vacation, but hopefully without overindulging and gaining back this week's (and more) weight loss. haha

5QF was posted too late for me to prepare in advance last night and not sure I'll have time to play along today, but I will try. I hope everyone has a great weekend...and week...I shall see you again next Sunday, July 10th!
