Can a weekend simultaneously seem to last forever, but go quickly? ha It really does seem like it was Friday a lifetime ago....but it also went so quickly that I feel I didn't accomplish anything besides be at events with my Scentsy booth!
Friday
I did my usual 4 hour work day (gosh, I love Fridays!!) and then had mega amounts of errands to complete. I slipped outside to get the mail Friday night because we had failed to do it all day and this was the view I had. :)
Saturday
Had to get up at the same time I would have if I were going to work (ugh) and get ready for the Osgood Lions Club Craft Show. I was thankful to have a booth next to someone I kinda knew, and got to know better over the course of the day, so it wasn't too lonely. haha This event used to be HUGE and well attended, but has definitely slipped over the last few years. I did about as well as I thought I would, but not as much as I had hoped to do. Hopefully it helped get my name out there even more!
That evening, mom and I went grocery shopping for the next 2 weeks (we won't have time next weekend) and stopped to have dinner at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Mom started laughing after we sat down and said, "Man I'd love to have that hair cut." I look quickly over my shoulder and see this kid with a bright pink mohawk. LMAO
Sunday
Ahhhh...sweet sleep. I so rarely get to sleep in. Is it still sleeping in if you are up before 8am? hahaha Well, sleeping in for me is anything later than 5am since that's when I get up for work everyday! I slept til almost 8am and then enjoyed some donuts for breakfast (a total splurge when counting points).
So, as I mentioned in a previous post....I was setting up a Scentsy "booth" at a Non-Traditional Wedding Shower. It was actually pretty cool, although one vendor that was supposed to be there (poor dude missed out on a ton of sales and some recruits!) backed out last minute, google Man Cave. ha The couple picked their registry items from Avon, Tupperware, Scentsy, Lia Sophia, Thirty-One, Pampered Chef, and Tastefully Simple. Their wedding shower guests could purchase stuff for the happily engaged couple and/or for themselves. It was all new people that I didn't know before and there was quite a bit of interest in Scentsy. One guy (his gf bought some Scentsy for herself) kept saying, "it's like that febreeze commercial where they keep walking into the room because it smells so good!" hahaha He walked through the door to the room several times. It was pretty funny, but a good review!
