Five Question Friday - 3/11

1. Do you know what your REAL hair color is?
Yes, it's the same color it is now! ha I've only colored my hair a few times & that was a few years ago. I naturally turn blonde-ish in the summer...all the stylists at my cousin's salon are jealous of my hair because I have natural highlights!

2. Do you plan ahead for summer, or fly by the seat of your pants?
Anyone who knows me...knows I'm a PLANNER. I'm a list maker. Super organized. I'll be working all summer, but we do have a vacation planned for July. :) Probably some random trips to Lexington to see Z or Indianapolis to see J.

3. What is your favorite meal to cook?
Funny you ask...I just made it (sitting down to eat it while I type this!). Grilled salmon fillet & wild rice. Yum. Yum. Yum.

4. Do you get offended by not receiving thank yous?
Not any more. It's sad, but people just don't do that anymore. I always send out Thank Yous, but that is ingrained in me from 4-H, FFA, and Mary Kay.

5. How did you meet your best friend?
Well, that's a tough question...I have best friends from school, etc. But my BEST best friends....are my sister (J) & cousin (Z). I know, corny. We talk a lot & hang out. We're the 3 Musketeers! We've spent so many nights hanging out at my old apartment or here at home, or on the road for a trip! I value their opinions & always know I can tell 'em anything.

Bamboo Pink

Bamboopink is a new fashionable, yet affordable jewelry line made and designed by a famous, high-end designer whose current line is sold in upscale department stores, is all over the red carpet and worn by Oprah! This company is the first of its kind, an Internet launched company with virtual trunk shows.there are no parties to host and no phone calls to make.

Analysts speculate that Bamboopink will be the largest women's Internet start-up company in history. The company has a cutting-edge business model, and the jewelry will be sold through consultants on our personal websites and through "virtual" jewelry parties.

This company is the first of its kind, an Internet launched company with virtual trunk shows...there are no parties to host and no phone calls to make.

Sign-ups are free, with no risks or obligations. The free signing period is only for 30 days (through March 15), after that you will have to pay to be a consultant. You can sign up here and take part in this AMAZING opportunity:
https://www.bamboopink.net/emenchhofer

What sets this company apart from other direct sales companies:
* GROUND FLOOR opportunity (probably won't ever happen to you again!) * Strongest comp plan in the industry
* Very successful "designer" multi-million dollar jeweler making/backing this jewelry, so sure to be successful
* Instead of growing one sales rep at a time, this business model using the free sign-up period - we can grow fifty sales reps at a time - but the time to do that is NOW!

This company is going to explode in a few weeks with a national press release and official launch. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. So be one of the first to sign up!

Then you can do the same as me and get credit for signing up your friends, which is what we are compensated for with jewelry, cash and/or an ipad. It is not about selling the jewelry at this point, but networking and creating interest. If you decide not to sell, you have lost nothing and your name is dropped from the list.

I joined and thought I'd pass the information along. I'm excited to see what unfolds. You can join in too by using my link. Remember to join before March 15th to be in the free signing period!

Detox Anyone?

So this weekend I'm visiting my cousin Zach in Lexington. Z and I have always been close. He's 2 months older than my sister and all of us cousins spent a majority of our youth together. I'm so thankful for that!

Z owns the electronic equipment to do foot detoxification baths....and he'd been telling me about how awesome it was. I've read about detox pads and baths before, so I was excited to try it! I was a little anxious about all the gunk that might be in the foot bath after the detox, but gave it a go anyway.

I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as disgusting (although make no mistake, it was gross!) as I expected it to be after I saw pics of other friends and family members who did it. ha If you can find a spa or health/wellness location that offers detox services....DO IT! You will be so glad you did! I'm gonna do it 2 more times this weekend and I'll post the results. A local massage therapist offers detox so I'm gonna try to schedule appointments with her every month or so to keep it up. It certainly can't hurt my weight loss, right?

other pics I've seen...the water was BLACK (which is about as bad as it gets) - the bubbles in the center is yeast...maybe had something to do with the 2 beers we just drank? haha Whoops.

On another note, I'm down 4 more pounds...a total of 16 pounds! Yay!

Five Question Friday 3/4

1. Have you ever forgotten your child in a store or at school?
No kids = never forgetting my child! Score! :) haha

2. Where did you go on your very first date? (Like...first first, not first with your spouse or current significant other!)
hmmm...had to think on this one and still not 100% sure. I think my first date was probably a New Year's Eve party that my cousins and I threw at our grandma's house with a lot of friends over and I started "dating" a guy that night and we sat and held hands pretty much the whole night. haha It seemed pretty grand for a freshman in high school! :p

3. What's your "silly" fear? (We're not talking water and heights.)
It's really not silly per say, but I'm terrified of never finding someone special to spend my life with and have a family with.

4. Confrontation: do you cause it, deal with is as it comes, or run far far away?
I'm a deal with it head-on kinda gal! ha I've never run away and in my youth may have caused it....but these days, I just deal with it when it happens and move on. Sometimes people just need to be put in their place, ya know? ;)

5. Wood floors or carpet?
Both! I love carpet for the softness and warmth, especially in the winter months because our wood floor in the living room makes the room seem considerably cooler than the rest of the house! In the summer, there's nothing better than walking across the cool wood floor with your bare feet.
